Adventist Community Services Center
As followers of Christ, we are called to follow His example in showing compassion to those in need in our community.
The Adventist Community Services provides clothing, shoes, linens, kitchen items, and small appliances to members of the Midland, Michigan community. These items are provided at no charge to individuals or families in need. Many of our clients are referrals from the Shelterhouse, FIA, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Midland Area Homes, Crisis Pregnancy Services, 1016 House, Center for Independent Living, Council on Aging, Community Mental Health and local churches. If you have a need or would like more information please call us at (989) 835-3675.
Client hours at the Center are Mondays, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30
p.m. Call (989) 835-3675 for an appointment.
Watch for our yearly coat give-away usually scheduled for
October. Each year several hundred coats are given to those
who need warmer clothing for the winter months. Coats
and other winter clothing are given on a first come first
served basis.
Without the support of the Midland community, we would soon
have to close our doors. We greatly appreciate our
donors. You can help us even more by indicating sizes
on bedding and curtains, discarding all soiled or damaged
goods before you bring them to us, and removing garage sale
price tags. This will save much time for our
volunteers. Thank you for your help!
These items are accepted for free distribution to those in
need in Midland County. Donations are accepted on
Mondays, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
